A home and enterprise for positive, personal change

Mission

Inspiration

Magdalene House Chicago, Inc. (MHC) was founded in 2015 by a group of dedicated women in the Chicagoland area. Inspired by the successful stories of healing and transformation that came out of Thistle Farm’s Magdalene House in Nashville, these women pledged to bring the same hope to women survivors of sex trafficking living in Chicago. In July 2016, Magdalene House Chicago was officially incorporated as an independent nonprofit.

Home & Hope in Chicago

Since then, MHC’s board has been raising funds and awareness to make a home for women survivors a reality in Chicago. With plans to open its doors in 2020, Magdalene House Chicago is ready for healing to make its way home.
